Emmaus was ready to host its 6th Annual Stepping Out with the Valley Stars on April 4--and then the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Like many nonprofits, Emmaus made the tough decision to cancel its annual spring gala.

We have been open during this entire crisis, sheltering and caring for the community's most-vulnerable who have no place else to turn. As a result of our canceled event, and unanticipated costs from this pandemic, Emmaus initially projected a budgetary shortfall of more than $150,000 for the current fiscal year ending June 30. Over time we have discovered the true deficit is actually much higher.  

Our first-ever, and hopefully our last, "Staying In with the Valley Stars" will feature a week of fun activities and opportunities to support Emmaus.  Each night we will share a new video that features some of our Valley Stars--including our past dancers-- from cooking to cocktail making, there is something for everyone!

Or grab a bite to eat from our restaurant partner, Carbone's Kitchen in Bradford, who will be cooking up some special meals for your dining pleasure.  She will also be donating a portion of the sales of those meals back to Emmaus!
