Presented by Emmaus, this year’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day event is family-friendly and focused on providing kindness and civil rights education to those who live in the city of Haverhill and the surrounding areas.  This event will include the following FREE items and services:

• The “Journey to Freedom” exhibit with historical stations.
• A reading room with multiple readings, poetry and art throughout the day about Dr. Martin Luther King and activism.
• Health and wellness vendors that will provide families with various means of health services such as HIV/Aids testing, flu shots, dental checks, eye screening with free prescriptions, and more.
• A free hot breakfast sponsored by Fred C. Church Insurance starting at 10 AM
• A free hot and nutritious lunch for everyone who attends.
• Backpacks with health related items.
•  A raffle for items such as $70 worth of classes at the Yoga Tree Studio in downtown Haverhill or a 2-month free membership to the Haverhill YMCA.
